Three Sports Federation Tournament Medals, Bronze Grade, C.1925 Auction the former maker marked “CIn bronze, two large size and one small size medals; all bearing Latin dulce et decorum est pro patria mori (translation: It is sweet and proper to die for one's country), all three bearing swords on reverse, large medals measuring at 36 mm in diameter and small medal measuring at 31 mm in diameter, all in very fine condition. Footnote: dulce et decorum est pro patria mori is a Latin phrase that comes from the Roman poet Horace, who wrote this phrase
