Germany, Luftwaffe. An Em/Nco’s Overseas Cap United Republic of on Army field-gray cloth backing(Luftwaffe Fliegermtze). Constructed of blueish gray wool, with fold down side and back panels with gently sloping, downward scallops to the front. The front of the cap features a machine embroidered, second pattern Luftwaffe eagle patch in silvery grey cotton threads, mounted on matching blue grey woolen base, and a embroidered, national tri colour cockade in black, white, and red rayon threads. Both the eagle and the cockade are hand stitched into
