This is an extremely well preserved Heer (Army) Cavalry officers M1938 field cap, constructed of field grey wool twill. The top of the cap, as well as the frontal scallops, are adorned with silver aluminum wire piping, while the top also bears dual ventilation holes reinforced with magnetic metal eyelets.
