the upper tip of the badge with partial gilt loss exposing the bronze base

It remains in delicate condition with folding creases and several rips and tears

situated above a trapezoidal plaque bearing a date of “1939” on a pebbled field

one on each breast which have decorative straps giving them a pleated-look with small brown plastic buttons

The hanger, in dark brown and black textured material, brass cooks on each end with patterned buckle, attached to original three stepped hanger, each strap measures 385 mm (l), light fraying throughout, wear to brass, clips functional, better than very fine condition.
