"Sunflowers" is based on one of a series of Vincent van Gogh's works called "Still Life: Vase with Twelve Flowers". Painted in 1888 in Arles France, the Dutch painter produced three different paintings, two with a dozen flowers and one with 15 sunflowers. One went to Paul Gaugin for his bedroom decor. The others were sold. Most recently,
